Anyone else having this issue? It's just with amazon app store. This affects the apps that require Amazon to be logged into also.

Thanks.

Thank you! At least I know it's not just me...

I did use the search engine. It didn't give me that thread.

And a nice side issue is that it is now not logging me in at all now, and giving me a "Maximum of 25 devices were registered to this user acct" Amazon Store app message. It also affects all of the apps that require Amazon to be actively logged in in order to run. I have verified via the Manage My Devices page that I only have one device registered.

If they don't fix it soon I won't be buying more apps from Amazon.

Removing the app store and installing it again seemed to have worked for me.

Read that thread the other person posted, it talks about the 25 devi es issue as well.

1.Log into your Amazon account on your PC.
2. Hover the cursor over "Your Account" under your name in the upper right, then select "Your Android Apps and Devices from the dropdown.
3. Select "Your Devices" on the left side of the screen.
4. For all of the duplicate devices, click on "Actions" and select "Deregister device." Just keep the most recently logged in listings for your devices.

Yes, good point. I'm not sure if the OP has updated yet. Uninstall your current Appstore app, then go to Install Amazon? Appstore to download the latest version. After it's done downloading, either click on it in your Notifications or in Downloads (in your app drawer), and it will install.
