Interested as well. Looking to see how well this tablet performs rooted and running Android - hopefully ICS. For $139 might be worth it considering it's pretty solid hardware.

I just ordered mine. I have been fighting the temptation to buy one at $199, and $139 for a refurb with a 1 year warrantee put me over the edge.

Just took the plunge. Been thinking about a Prime or Thrive but really don't have the funds so sprung for this little guy. Cannot wait to root and mess around with it.

What's holding me back is I'm probably about to buy a 4.7" android phone...so 7" tablet is not really that much bigger - though I do recognize that 7" is probably about double the screen real estate of 4.7".

Also the resolution and screen are not that great compared to the HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S3 I'm hopefully about to buy...further limiting the gain I'd get from having one of these. When would I pick up my Kindle Fire to use as opposed to my new phone's brilliant 4.7" 720p screen?

BTW I wouldn't buy a Kindle Fire for eBooks. I have a Kindle 3 that I think is great and don't need to replace (not to mention e-Ink > backlight for reading).
