Good Evening Everyone,

Because I am new to using Amazon apps I would first like to ask is there any known security flaws with it? I would also like to know when using the Amazon Market do any of you notice that it lags when scrolling the appstore? also is there a way to sign out of the app like the pc version where we can sign our name off and exit or are we always signed in even if using the back key, also do I always have to check unknown sources to download amazon apps? Sorry for being such a noob and Thanks in Advance.

1. Yes you need to set Unknown Sources to yes to install the appstore itself and any apps from it. This is why it does not work on all AT&T phones.
2. Yes the Appstore is always running in the background (like the Market) but I have not noticed it slowing anything down. If you sign out it is possible that some of the apps which do licensee checks could fail those checks and stop working.
3. I don't think it lags, no, at least not badly. It has had about 3 updates since it was launhed which have improved overall usability of the app.
EDIT: 4: As for security flaws it does not have any that I know of but as stated above the app itself gets updated so just like any other app if any appeared Amazon would push a fix (when you open the appstore and there is an update it tells you, you can also check for them manually from the menu > More > Settings > Check For Updates)
