Amazon MP3 App issues

I'm having trouble with the Amazon MP3 App. I am able to install it and run it, yet whenever I try to login I get a network error (Exception #70).

I've downloaded the most recent version from both the normal market and the Amazon Market and get the same error.

I'm running a stock rooted NC.

Here is the same issue on XDA without a fix yet.

This is really disappointing, as I was really excited to play with their cloud storage. I even bought a Miles Davis CD for $2.99 to get the extra 20GB!

I got the same results. Its almost like it doesn't want to work sans 3G ability, although there should be no reason for it not to work over wifi!
