Amazon Music - can't select as audio app

Hi. I've got an S8+ and my Volkswagen Passat supports android auto. I've been able to get it to connect, use Google Maps etc. But when I go to the headphones icon, and tap again to bring up the list of apps I can choose, I can only select Google Play Music.

Amazon Music is installed and I'm logged in using my account. I installed it from the Google App Store.

Anyone know how to get the app to appear?

Apps need to support AA in order to show up in AA.

Yep, thanks for that. It is one that the Play store claims to support Android Auto. Which is why I have posted this question.

App shows up automatically. No need to do anything. If it doesn't show up for you, something on your phone is not right.

Try to uninstall the Amazon music app and reinstall it? Amazon had a weird issue lately where it showed up twice in the list and neither would open. Maybe there was a glitch with the install.

Not sure if you've solved the problem yet. I too was having problems with adding Amazon music to my 2016 Civic after I purchased my S8+ the other day. I uninstalled the Amazon music app and then reinstalled it. Now it works. Hope it helps.
