Amazon Order Update!

^ That first day Amazon had them up for preorder, they listed the 32GB at $492 and the 64GB for $584 - I have no idea why - and it seems like they changed the price before the end of the day...

BTW - no change since this morning - my order status is still in the "Shipping Soon" stage - I was really hoping that meant it might go out tonight...

I was fortunate to fall into this category too, I got the small savings when I pre-ordered so I figured yay! That goes toward an accessory.

Ordered on the 21st. Still listed for Jan 26 - Feb 9th. No new shipping info to speak of.

Amazon just shipped my Prime tablet overnight (still nothing new on the dock... :-( ) earlier today around 4pm EST! It arrives tomorrow most likely while I'm at work between 7am-3pm. I just wish there would be some update on the dock...that's still looking like Feb.

Edited to add: It's the 32GB Champagne model. Ordered Dec 19th.

Got my shipping notice today, 32 GB champagne tablet to be delivered tomorrow. My dock is still scheduled for Jan 10, but I'm hoping it will ship sooner. Both were ordered on Nov 22.

Just received shipping confirmation for the 64GB from Amazon - says the carrier picked up the unit at 6:00 am. Looks like I'll have to wait until the 3rd after all - but at least it's coming!

Sadness -- ordered the 32GB Champagne on Dec. 19th as well, but so far Amazon still says "4 to 7 weeks" on my order. At least it looks like the supply chain is finally moving, so that probably bodes well for everyone.

^Yeah, don't worry, the supply chain is definitely moving now. Amazon updated a ton of their orders for the earlier dates, I'm sure yours will be updated shortly as well! I haven't read anyone saying their dock orders were updated, though, unfortunately. But hang in there for the tablet part!

Interesting - I got a second email stating that my dock delivery date has moved up. When I ordered on Dec. 20, I got a January 25th-February 9th ship date. Looks like it'll be here on Wednesday - the day after the tablet arrives.

Looks like they got a shipment of the Amethyst ones, but not the champagne ones. My champagne still says January 30th.

Nope. I'm holding my champagne 32gb in my hand, delivered Friday afternoon from Amazon. So they've got both it seems. Also, this looks more silver than gold. Very nice looking tablet.

When did you place your order? I placed mine on December 22nd and have still not gotten moved up.
