I preordered the one x from amazon and it is showing an estimated delivery date of Jun 6 is this just cause it is a preorder? Has anyone ever not gotten a preorder on time from amazon?

My wife did. You will get it in about 7 days from now if its in stock. My wife got the galaxy nexus from amazon and it said the same thing that it would take almost a month to come. But it's only to give them leeway in case something happens during delivery. No worries you'll have it soon.

I also preordered from Amazon today. It will suck if i do not receive it by May 6. If you call them, they will give you the phone for $200 instead of $250 if you are upgrading your phone. Tell them that ATT is selling it for $200 and they will match the price.

I am buying off contract. They matched AT&T price of $549.99 and I got free shipping and don't have to pay taxes. Just hoping we get it may 6 or before

Just FYI, The price just went down for upgrades. It's $149 now vs 249 this morning. I ordered mine in white!

I called Amazon Wireless and told them that the price on their website echanged and they changed my pricing from $199.99 to $149.99

It says "backordered. Available for preorder" which is the same thing the Nokia lumia 900 said for preorder and everyone got theirs on time.

I am able to keep my unlimited plan. I've been from Blackberry, to iOS, to Android, to Windows Phone back and forth and always been able to keep my unlimited plan.

Estimated Shipping date has changed to May 7, delivered Estimate is May 9- Guess that Amazon doesn't ship early like AT&T

Not quite. You have to use it a min if 6 months. If you don't, you would pay an ETF with Amazon. This fee is SEPARATE from the ETF with your carrier. Essentially you would pay two ETFs if you cancelled early. I believe Amazon did this to discourage users upgrading their phones for little to no cost and then immediately selling it to the open market.

However I still have concerns about the camera lens, lack of microSD and sealed body.. Am going to wait until people have them in their hands and get a sense of the issues with the phone, battery etc. before pulling the trigger. Also am eager to see what Sammy announces next week

I pre-ordered because I love the One X, but I am also going to see what Samsung announces. If I find it's worth waiting for (which I don't see happening because I don't want to wait until mid summer), I'll cancel my One X order. I just wanted to have it ordered in case I don't change my mind.

I talked to Amazon Wireless and ATT has apparently not "granted them permission" to grandfather unlimited data plans. I was super bummed but I guess radio shack it is.

Radio Shack said they can do the upgrade without changing the upgraded line's services.

All you have to do is Call AT&T within 30 days of activation and they will move you on to your Grandfathered plan. I verified this with multiple AT&T reps on the phone.

Personally I think its important to wait a bit until people have their phones for a while so we can learn what sort of issues, if any, surface. I'm a bit concerned about batter life in LTE areas like we have here in SF.

However, if I end up getting one, I will do it via Amazon since Radio Shack only gives $45 for the trade in on my 3G and I can get at least $100 on the open market for it. And since I'm an existing ATT customer with unlimited data and a less expensive texting plan, I can grandfather the whole plan to the OneX.. Sure like how cool the phone is though and the camera and Sense 4.0 seem to be very fluid. This phone is head and shoulders better than any Apple device I've seen!
