Amber notification light

When charging my phone the amber light comes on as expected but it never turns off or goes to a green full charge. I have powered the phone off and let it charge for over 12 hours and still an amber light but showing a full battery.

Try a factory reset. Other than that idk. Never seen anyone ask about this before.

Could try a new battery that one might not be capable for reaching full charge.?

Are you on a stock Evo (no root) and standard battery? Also, have you tried pulling the battery out of the Evo and trying again?

Try bump charging. I doubt it'll work, but it'd be worth trying anyways. After that though, it's time for a new battery

Bingo. Put your stock battery in and see if you still have the problem. I bet no.
