This is a feature I found out about on day 1, by mistake just asking Google what certain sounds, sound like. But like the author and commentors on this Verge article from a couple of days ago I didn't know how to make it play longer than an hour. But then one day while playing the oscillating fan sound I opened the Google home app and one of the tip cards said, if you want the audio to stop at a certain time, while the audio is playing, you ask it to turn off the sound at whatever time you want it to turn off. Example, "ok Google turn of audio at 2am.

I read that same comment section at The Verge, and was a bit surprised that some people didn't seem be aware that this was possible.

I listen to white noise as well during sleep and would set a time for it to cease.
