Amoled Screen burn in is back!

I had a Galaxy Note 4 for less than a month and I was already getting a burn... So I sold that and got a Moto x Pure/Style. And I've loved it, I keep my screen on 100% brightness constantly and still get decent battery, plus no burn! So i would recommend a Moto x pure rather than a phone with an amoled screen. :) P.S. My burn on the note 4 was the notification bar.

No burn in on mine. Had it since November.

Yeah, I remember reading people were concerned about burn-in when I was researching the 6P before purchase, but I've had mine since last November and no burn-in.

Hey all,

I just bought the new pixel and am deathly afraid of the "burn in" the bottom navigation bar might produce. I downloaded an app that changes the color of the black navigation bar to different colors depending on what program is open.. As it is constantly changing colors and exercising those pixels... Do you think that will help to prevent "burn in?" Thank you :).

That should help. I've never really had burn on my AMOLED screened phones. However I always keep my brightness waaaaay down. Usually around 20% or less. Maybe that's why

What's the name of the app?

I just downloaded it. Pretty cool. I wonder how much this app affects battery life?

Lol you read my mind. I imagine it does some... As black areas on an AMOLED screen are literally areas that aren't being lit up or pixelated. Idk how much it impacts battery life though.
