Amoled slcd question

Hi,

I got a replacement incredible and it came with an slcd screen. My question is, can I buy an amoled screen off ebay, take the phone apart and swap the screens out?

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you can. I think the code differs slightly with the 2 different types of screens.

Maybe someone can confirm or deny.......

Nope - the hardware/connectors and drivers are different.

wow that really sucks. This screen totally ruins the phone

I know what you mean. I have coworkers with teh SLCD version and they thought it was great till seeing my AMOLED screen.
