The 2013 Nexus 7

First off-this isn't a review in the slightest--i'll leave that to the pros.:)
Now on to business.
The 2013 nexus 7 is a fantastic device,I may have only have had this device for the past 3 days, but i can already tell that this device is leaps and bounds ahead of its predecessor. While this shouldn't exactly come as a shock,it certainly is a welcome change. The most impressive improvement is of course--the screen. It is a thing of pure joy to look at,that 1080p screen.Along with the screen come a number of other extremely welcome changes.Chief of which is battery life.No longer will i have to worry about bringing my charger to school with me. This will easily get me through a day of heavy use,let alone periodic usage. The speakers are fantastic,i am not sure about epic. They are facing the wrong direction for that.

The back feels great in the hand, and like the first generation nexus 7, despite its price it feels premium. What Google has done here,is raise our expectations of what an affordable tablet can and should be.They did the exact same thing last year(remember?).The "surround sound" is another awesome feature that Google has packed into this little beauty. It really does make my headphones sound more expensive then they actually are. It makes for an amazing experience when listening to music or watching media. It's important to remember, that nothing is or ever will be perfect. But google has got darn close with the new nexus 7.Now of course we have slimport hdmi out,but as i have yet to test this feature i can not speak for its performance.

As far as my complaints go,i have just the one. It's a small one too.The frequency that the "soft touch" picks up fingerprints is somewhat displeasing. But far,far from a deal breaker.
