An open letter to Verizon on the Galaxy Nexus

Of course you underestimated them. That's what people have been telling you since the beginning of this thread. People that actually know what is going on have said that Verizon will not screw this up. You should listen to them.

No, people who actually know have not been contributing to this thread. The discussion was mostly been like this:

Me: "Wow guys, the unstoppable force is about to hit the immovable object - I'm concerned about what will happen, maybe we should chime in" (which a lot of people agreed with/liked).

Nay-sayers: "Dude, it's the unstoppable force - there's not way it can be stopped, it's unstoppable!"

P3 and the Panda just came out with their info recently (like the last couple hours) - before this there was nothing but general innuendo that stuff was wrong (and a genuine Verizon insider saying that there was a lot of tension over how Samsung/Google were handling this at Verizon). Now that people who are reliable are providing explanation I'm totally satisfied - that didn't exist when I started this thread. And really, it's done no harm - if Verizon is committed to doing the right thing (as it sounds) then they should feel all the more commended for providing something we care about.
