Andriod OS using extreme amount of data

[AC Question]

Hello, i have a galaxy s7 edge and recently the andriod OS is using a excessive amount of data ! Like today it used 2.7gb of data, this doesnt happen all the time it has happen once more since my plan started on the 10th of march . So in total it has happen twice, the first time being around 900mb . Please help as this is killing my data allowance and i have searched for an answer for days now .

You can turn data saver on, you can also see what's using the data and restrict it.. 2.7 gig is not acceptable at all...
