I may be wrong but if I recall Samsung Pay/Google pay will not work...correct?

It's been a while since I've been on a Samsung beta, but iirc Samsung Pay works, but not Google Pay.

I'm not really heart broken about it. I enjoy beta testing for most things. But my phone is my daily driver, I don't have a backup, so I'm OK with not being able to beta test a new OS.

I would gladly be a beta tester for Verizon though.

I would love the option to not update to new OS ever. Phone runs fine now, all updates ever do is mess the perfectly running phone up.

I've never had that experience with any device. Maybe some features changed, removed offer added.

Doesn't mean others haven't. Read every phone forum before updates and phone is good, after update complaint after complaint. It's a broken record. I'm a firm believer.. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

this exactly. phone running perfectly and then wham, update pushed and mucks it all up.

this alone is why I don't take updates if at all possible until they've been vetted by other users. I don't need them because I'm careful with what I do and where I go, and no worrisome behavior. the last update screwed me up (sprint) because it was pushed out in a hurry. now I'm back to crappyville hoping the next update will fix what they broke for me.
