False... Totally false. That was the past. Samsung updates on the S10 and Note 10 have been great and Android 10 will be here soon.

Well... I had a S10 and a S10+. I had, too, a S9, and a Note9 as well. And I have a Note10+ now. In fact, I had every single Note since the first, and every single S since S6. And some A and J series in between (I have a small business, so I need a lot of devices for my work team).

I don't know who your carrier is but I'm on the October 1st patch which I received on October 10. We are getting Android 10 soon. How much faster do you want it? Samsung is not my beloved brand.

The last Samsung phone I had was the S8+. Samsung definitely seems to have stepped up their game with security updates.

Maybe it depends on region and carrier. I have no complaints and I was spoiled by Pixel updates.

Possibly. My S8+ hardly got any updates, but with my Note I've gotten the monthly security updates in a timely manner. No real complaints on my end either.

I had a Note 8 and received monthly security updates and 2 Android updates. Same for my Note 4 which I held for almost 3 years. We have alot of Samsung phones in our household and Samsung has delivered 3 years of monthly security updates and two major Android updates for every device.

It's honestly getting crazy it's not out yet in the US since Korea is about to get the 2nd version of the beta.

I believe the answer would be no because future updates would only be written for the current OS but I will concede to anyone who has done that in the past.
