Android 10 System Accent Colors

I have the S9+ on Verizon. I just received Android 10. I am checking out the new things and was trying to change the default blue accent color (in the notification shade). I read an article here on Android Central on how to turn on dark mode....which I do have turned on. The article said to go to "developer options"......which I have done and yes developer options is turned on. I chose green.

Now one thing I did notice is that when I go to settings.....display......I don't see the "dark theme"......I show "dark mode". Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to settings, tap the search icon and type in dark.
It should be the first item found.

I have dark mode turned on. I guess it depends on what phone you have. Some phones call it dark theme and others call it dark mode.

I want to be able to change the accent color from the default blue to green. I went to developer options and selected green but it never changes. The notification shade still shows the default blue.
