Android 10 update not showing

Hello,
My Note 9 is running Android 9 with One UI version 1.0. Every time I try to update the software, it completes but still keeps me on Android 9. I’ve considered using Odin, but I’m worried about bricking my phone. Additionally, since my Note 9 is from AT&T and is a U.S. model, I'm unsure if I can even use Odin. I also don’t know if the bootloader is unlocked or if there’s a way to unlock it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Are you sure an update to a higher OS version is available for that specific carrier model? Also, for ATT phones from that 'era', it was pretty common to make the software updates 'locked' to being actively on an ATT SIM/connection or to use Samsung Kies/SmartSwitch to install the update via USB.
