Android 10 update, now can't read text on home screen

Can anybody help please? The icon text has defaulted to a light grey and can't read some of it. Can I change it? It's just the default as I've never changed theme

Do you use a 3rd party launcher?

Try changing wallpaper and see how that affects the visibility of the text.
You don't really need the text, anyways. You know what the icons on your home screen do, because you use them most.

Just stock launcher. Why would they change it to grey text from white!!

I agree with pizza pablo change to stock wallpaper if stock launcher.

If you were using a theme, you might try switching to the standard one...
