I'm currently running the beta Android 10 (beta 2) on my 7 Pro. will I still be getting the official rollout to Android 10 or do I have to do anything first? kinda confused on that point. thanks!

I think you will need to flash the official 9 to get out the beta and then receive the official 10 OTA. I'm afraid you'd need a full wipe.

I don't know for sure, I didn't install the open beta mostly because of that. I follow a Brazilian Telegram group for the 7 series and all of those that went back to estable from beta made a clean flash and full wipe.

Anyway, you don't need to get back now. The official OTA has pretty much stopped and we'll have more news tomorrow. Maybe OP will go the Pixel way and release another big OTA update.

Double checked with some of those Brazilian guys and same answer, clean flash and full wipe are compulsory, no way to avoid it.

Anyone else noticing that some notification icons don't show in the status bar on 10.0.1? They do show in the pull down.

I know there's some new notification settings in 10, but from what I can tell I have everything turned on and allowed

Yes, that happens with apps that you set as silent and no vibrate. You need to set the importance of that app notifications again in the general settings, not from inside the app.

You can change the importance here and then set silent and no vibrate again.

In apps like Telegram or WhatsApp you need to go through all the different types of chat (groups, private, ...).

I think they set a new category where you get the notification in the pull down menu but not the status bar icon. Some apps defaulted to this option after the update.
