Android 11 Camera Panorama Issue

I updated my 3XL to Android 11 yesterday. I can no longer get the camera to produce a correct image in either Panorama or Photosphere modes. Also, can't seem to get the camera to rotate correctly for a horizontal panorama when holding the phone in landscape orientation. Panos are completely broken for me with this release. Anyone else having this issue?

Check your sensors with a sensor app. Lots of us have broken sensors with these upgrades. Losing panorama is a symptom of broke sensors. Google will not fix. Other symptoms are: screen won't auto rotate, most gestures won't work like flip to shh, wrist flick in camera mode to activate selfie. Many other lost functionalities.

Below is a Panorama shot I took of my backyard. It does take some trial and error to get the process correct. The first one I took had the rails of my deck in the shot. The rails looked bad but the distance subjects look great. So there is a proximity to subject factor. Maybe if my focus was on the rails it would look better. I think producing food panorama shots is just going to take practice.

Just confirming that you are running Android 11? I shot many many panoramas prior to updating to Android 11 without any issues. The issue I show in my picture just started after the update. I have tried several panoramas now, and they all are curved incorrectly to varying degrees.

I'm am on Android 11. Below is my first attempt. Notice how bad the close rails are but the distant objects are fine.

I tried one without the fence and trail, and tried to crop a bit, but it's still pretty bad for me. Foreground area especially.

I have had better panorama methods and results on other brands of phones. Hopefully it will be improved by an update.

Thanks for sharing your results. I would be happy if it could just go back to being as good as it was in Android 10 for me.
