Has anyone been able to use these? I have a Verizon S20+ and I have the floating notification set to bubbles in settings, but I don't have the option to use them with anything. I am using Google messages instead of samsung messages but I've seen that google messages supports it. Is it something that just isn't working yet?

Works for me. Oddly, my brother has the S20+ as well and it isn't working for him. No idea why it works for some but not others

Which app are you getting it to work in and how are you activating it?
I use Google Messages. In the settings, there's a Bubbles option and you can either turn it on for all contacts or just for ones you choose. I don't know what other apps are supported.

Hmm that's weird I don't have that in the settings for my google messages. Do you have chat features enabled? Also what version are you on? Mine says 6.8.076 (Ent_RC11.phone_dynamic) when I got to about the app.

Yes. I have chat features on. I have a different version though

Ah you are on the beta version. So my guess is I have to wait for an update for them to support it on the stable release version.
I have it with the beta version. I am using the Pixel 4a. I don't know of any reason the beta version with chat bubbles won't work on other brands.

So will I have that feature when I get my S21? It's an Android 11 feature correct? Do you have to use Google or will it work with Samsung messaging?

Can't say. It's obvious Google gives the Android new features advantage to its own Pixel line of phones. Right now it seems that the beta version of Messages is needed for the Chat Bubbles feature. You'll have to sign up for the beta program through Play Store (there may be another way), delete the original Messages app from your phone, reboot your phone then go to Play Store and install the beta version. You'll have to go Settings/Notifications and enable Chat Bubbles.
