Android 11 / OneUI 3.1 rollout started in South Korea and now the US! (updated title 1/26)

I usually factory reset after a OS main version update. I noticed samsung internet, skype and Facebook are not part of built-in apps anymore. Also from Microsoft only one drive is installed by default. This is a good move to not install third party apps. I do like samsung internet though.

I just got a weird tease. My SM-T878U (T-Mobile 5G) had a system update available, but it was just something minor. Still on Android 10 and Nov 1 security release.

Me too I was so excited then upset when I realized I was still on Android 10

Were these actual SYSTEM updates or were they Google Play Services updates? I've had a couple of the latter recently, including just after getting the Android 11 update. @mikey12345 your update MAY be coming from T-Mobile so it may take longer.

And now I have an additional software update pending. 200MB+, says it has the January security patch level (we're on December with the Android 11 update) and various unnamed fixes (maybe it'll add back the ability to screenshot?).

Finally received an update to replace samsung now with Samsung free. No option to choose Google feed though. Samsung free is fine for now 🙂
