TCL Pro 20 5G with Android 11 (November patch)
Long story, short: I need to see my device (phone not Google contacts) in the Contacts App.
Suggestion from one person: When you open the contacts app, tap the three dots in top right corner... Tap settings... Tap contacts to display... Select "phone only"

On my phone that option does not appear. If I long press on the three dots, I get a floating "More Options":

but there is no way to press that More Options button.

How can I see my device contacts/select the More Options button ?

Welcome to Android Central! Is there a "hamburger" menu icon at the upper left (i.e., a button that looks like 3 horizontal lines)? If so, tap that and tell us what you see.

Thanks for the reply.

That hamburger is not edible...
I see:
Contacts which takes me back to the main Contacts menu

Can’t do a screenshot for now, maybe tomorrow, bit late at this time.

Yes there are two “device” contacts. I created them from the Contacts application and selected Device instead of the Google account (which had imported a few addresses when i initialized the phone).
I did manage to see the list of two once, but no idea how I got there, think it was when I was playing with Backup/sync.
