Question Android 13 navigation bar

My sons getting annoyed with the navigation bar since the last Android 13 update. It seems the bar covers the bottom of the screen particularly annoying on Roblocks. Is there a way of hiding it or making the bottom of the apps align with the top of the bar? He's using a lenovo tablet

Does long-pressing the bar (i.e., an empty area to the left or right of the app icons) make it minimize, or is it still too prominent even when minimized?

Even when minimised it covers half the icons on roblox. I've discovered with gesture mode activated. Then go in to the roblox app and then minimise it then reopen from the recent screen using the full screen button will make the bar transparent but you still get that annoying white line. There's obviously a glitch with android and when the navigation bars are on then they should move all apps to line up with the top or just remove it or revert back to Android 12 nav bars.

If stock launcher doesn't have a option to remove the task bar maybe try using a 3rd party launcher like Nova ?

I've tried Microsoft launcher not Nova. But Microsoft one made no difference to the in app experience

Not familiar with Microsoft launcher but give Nova a try
