Android 14 beta Getting Closer /Members App Update /Beta Updates Available

So was I. No Prince Comsey or anything creative required. A direct flash using Odin, and then sideloaded each new beta in sequence. I was on ZWIK when I started reading today's posts.

Plus, I got my beloved individual toggles for Calls/SMS/Data back "All" you need to do is switch the CSC on U1 firmware to GCF, and voila.

I can't. I sideloaded the US beta on my Canadian phone and Samsung Members does not work, period.

If you are the only one seeing the issue, I wonder if that's the reason why...

Nm. Settings > Notifications > Show app icons. Toggled off by default

If you are the only one seeing the issue, I wonder if that's the reason why...

"Reset all settings" fixed the clock font, but I also discovered that the Default font is half-baked by design. It is literally half Roboto.

I replaced it with the Honest Bunny flipfont, which, while a bit cartoonish, I find pleasantly refreshing

I couldn't resist and took the plunge. Too early for me to pass any judgement, but I really like what I see so far. I am noticing that unlocking with my fingerprint seems much faster and more reliable; something I've had issues with, so this is a welcomed change I hope sticks!! Also love the new "Media is being played" Routine trigger!!

Have you checked on the updates recently? Most of the modules i use have now been updated and are working.

Yes I have. There's a good 5 or 6 apps that aren't working. I've updated Good Lock as well.

I think Samsung is offering the same beta OneUI 6 for all eligible devices since I noticed most but not all Good Lock modules are working on my S22 Ultra.

That's unfortunate, there are a few still not working but the ones I care about most have been enabled. Specifically quickstar, which was updated a couple of days ago.

Man, why did they change the battery stats??? No more since last full charge Only seem to get daily stats. Hated when Google did this and was happy to see the return to since last full charge with Android 14 ... now Sammy goes and does the opposite with One UI 6. Do they do this crap just to be different from one another? LOL

Yeah, they've put a lot of useless data front and centre with the new battery stats... I have a battery widget that links to it directly, but I may change the link as I haven't been using it since it was made worse in OneUI 6.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the *new* UI of the quick settings panel is basically just stock Android 10? It doesn't bother me, I just find it amusing.

Yeah, not a fan of it at all. Honestly, I don't ever use the WiFi or BT toggles ... I turn them on and leave them on.
Also wasn't one of the points of ONE UI to make things more reachable for one-handed use? This change does the opposite...

I agree, it's definitely a worse UI. The eye comfort shield and dark mode toggles are even worse... I sincerely doubt there are very many people who manually use them enough for them to have the position of prominence that they do.

I quit using eye comfort shield when I learned that blue light makes no difference with eyestrain.
