Android 16 and Developers Mode

Hi
I don't know if this is an Android 16 issue or the A55 5G with Android 16. Since updating to Android 16, whenever I connect my smartphone to my computer, instead of staying in "Transfer files / Android Auto" as set in the "Developer mode" option as in 15, it goes to "Charge only."
What am I missing?

you no longer get option in drop down menu, need developer to toggle which you need!!

Can try developer mode in case it was disabled, also try in safe mode if still an issue

The "developer mode" and "copy files..." are on.
How to put in safe mode?

Press the power button to bring up the power off option on the screen then long press the screen power off and safe mode will start , to exit out just reboot your device.

There's no difference between safe and normal mode; I've tried with several cables and it always stays in charging mode. As I said before, this only started with the upgrade to Android 16.

The other options come up in the pull down notifications panel? Just greyed out
