Looks like the beta program is now available for Pixel 10 devices. I was running the beta on my Pixel 9 Pro XL that I traded in on my Pixel 10 Pro XL. Until now, my Pixel 10 did not show up as an eligible device for the beta program but it's showing up now. Just FYI in case you're interested in giving the beta software a try on the 10.

Anything significant in the beta?
To be honest, I don't recall much of a difference from the stable version of Android 16 that came with the 10, although I think the beta gives more control over theming of app icons. I found the beta to be very stable on my Pixel 9. Had no issues with it.

I opted in but I haven't seen the OTA yet. It's been about 2 hours. 10 Pro XL.

Yeah I don't think we will see it until tomorrow. I'm tired of checking every 5 minutes. If you want to have a bit of fun though, you can head over to reddit where there's a billion posts about this. Just write that you got your beta update and let the frenzy begin.

Unlike all the other betas that I have ever joined, this one does not appear available for the pixel 10 pro XL at this time. I wonder why. Does anyone have any idea?

I just picked up the 10PXL. I downloaded the latest beta. Did Google do away with being able to unlock the phone with fingerprint censor when the screen is off?

Not sure what you mean. My sensor shows even when the screen is off (lock screen).

There are a lot of complaints about not properly charging on older charging pads or in vehicles. If you search for it there are many results. My issue is with my two newish vehicles. It starts to charge, stops and says there is a foreign object on the charging pad. If you take it off and place the phone back on the pad it does the same thing. Then sitting on the charging pad heats up the phone and causes battery drain.

What kind of vehicles do you have? I had Audis in the past where the wireless pad only made the phone hot and never charged. However, my current Ford wireless charger works well and actually has a fan built in to the pad to keep the phone cooled.

Chevy and BMW. All other phones work fine with them. The Pixel 9 worked fine.
