Android 2.2?

Folks,
What version of Android is the Inc supposed to have? I reloaded my phone about 2 weeks ago, and I have 2.2.

I noticed my Gmail app hasn't upgraded to the latest version since the reload; so, now I'm wondering if I have the current OS.

Yes, the official current OS version is 2.2.

You can flash a ROM to get something more current.

Yep. The most current official version of Android for the Dinc is Android 2.2 (Froyo). If you want Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) you'll need to root and flash a custom ROM.

Word on the street is Gingerbread is coming soon. Probably in July unless it get banged up by VZW. The leak runs very well.

Does the notification pane have recently used apps or favorite apps, by chance?

What are some of your favorite features? Assuming the leak was the Sense version.
