Can somebody tell me how to update my lg Optimus one to gingerbread, I don't have the lg pc suite nor a system, my devices is not rooted. OTA is not possible, is there anyway to download the software and install on the phone itself without using a PC.

You can root your phone with gingerbreak and download a custom rom and recovery.

Flash the recovery then a gingerbread rom.

Yes
Google gingerbreak.apk , download and install it on your phone

Google flash image gui.apk , download and install it

Find a recovery that works with your device, rename the recovery to recovery.img and use flash image GUI to flash it.

Now download the ROM and flash it with the recovery.

-Google how to get into recovery with your device since its different with each phone. And I have a different optimus

wtf!!!!!!! i just bricked my phone!!!! it shows emergency mode with yellow screen.....system dont detect the phone when connected using kdz updater!!!!!
