Android 4.0.4 Production Odin Files!

Ooops, yeah, you were in the wrong spot on his site...this is where you want to go: ROM - Downloads There is a ICS section, just grab the latest and flash in recovery like usual.

Im sry but this is my first time doing anything to my phone. Its unrooted and I dont know where to start. Is there a link or another thread in which there is a step by step process. Cause I have no clue what it means when they say to flash your device. THanks

The one I tried was 1 31 12 and its still 4.0.3. The first page I linked to was a stock rooted 4.0.4 and was terrible.

Hmm, I'm on Pete's latest Bugless Beast nightly and am debating whether or not to try rooted stock for comparison sake...

I am not sure why you would want to run the rooted stock ICS from petes page? Peter's Bugless Beast is just that. Bugless with some clean up and code added.

Not exactly. Pete's is an AOSP build with extended power controls and a custom kernel. Some have said that the (soon to be) official OTA runs faster than any of the custom ICS roms they've tried. I'm just curious as to whether or not they're right or experiencing some kind of placebo effect.

Might be a placebo effect. If it runs faster than Peter's Rom I would be real surprised. His ROM is pretty fast to begin with. As long as all ROMS and the OTA run fast everyone wins.
