Android 4.2.1 System Update Error

[AC Question]

after i press check new version now, there's a loading sign saying "start to check new version" and after a while a notice appeared and said "Net error. Please check net link status or change to APN, try again later". I'm using a private wifi in my house. What should i do?
I'm using:
Hisense EG680 - Jellybean 4.2.1 - Kernel 3.4.5

Welcome to Android Central! It's unlikely that your device will get any additional updates, so my guess is that the message you're getting is due to a problem on the server side. Perhaps Hisense shut the server down.
