Android 5.0.1 question

I finally took my phone to best buy and they were able to get my phone updated to 5.0.1. I know a lot of people suggest doing a factory reset after a software update. What are the pros and cons of doing that??

There are really no cons unless you don't desire to redo everything on your phone, such as installing apps and all your personal things to your phone. The pros are your phone will feel brand new and fast.
