Android 5.0.2 update, how do I delete it?

Hi All.
My Nexus 7 (2103) down loaded for instillation andriod version 5.0.2 but reading the potential problems Nexus users have had with it I don't want to install. How do I delete the update? And from where?

The 2013 N7 is up to 6.0.1, and mine has no problems with it. Any reason why you don't want Marshmallow on your tablet?

If you just want to get rid of an update that was downloaded, but not installed, you can boot into Recovery mode and wipe the system cache and that'll get rid of it (until it notices that an update is pending and asks if you want to download it again).

I'm with B. Diddy on this one though - the tablet works great on 6.0.1 (the current Marshmallow build).
Edit: note, however, that he pointed you to 'hammerhead' images but the Nexus 7 (2013) uses the 'razor' images. You can use a utility like https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ails?id=com.inkwired.droidinfo&token=H4olNX1V to determine your current platform.

razor is for the WiFi version. razorg is for the LTE version. https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#razor

Ah durnit! When I scroll in that official factory image page, it automatically tacks on the URL modifier of wherever I happened to be. I mean to link the whole page, not the specific part of the page with the Hammerhead images--that just happened to be where I had scrolled to when I copied the URL!:-\
