Anyone else notice you had to download the Google now launcher? I factory reset the device twice to make sure. It is really strange seeing as my Android L preview had it by default.

Thats odd. It should have been preinstalled on the device. Unless for some reason it was excluded from the Nexus 7 2013, which I don't think is the case.

How is the update running on your device?

Running fantastic both on my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7.

However yeah its strange its kind of like how KitKat was on the Nexus 7 (2013) you had to get the Google now launcher on your own.

I also assumed it would stock with the launcher. But I had to install it. No big deal.
