Android 5.1.1 previewed for S6

SamMobile put up a video showing the a preview of the 5.1.1 build for the S6. I love that the S-find and QuickConnect buttons can now be removed.

Awesome!! I just bought a S6 and I although the first thing I did was to install nova, I have to still deal with the notification mess by Samsung. Being able to remove those two buttons js a big plus

I'm on AT&T and my pull-down shade doesn't have the S-Finder + Quick Connect toggles under the brightness control. I don't have the option to enable them either.

Form the little information in the video, it doesn't look promising in terms of resolving some of the heartburn issues. Hopefully, more clarity will be forthcoming before the release later this month.

Still early build, hopefully there will be much more in the update, including ram and WiFi fixes, if not, at least we got the best hardware!

I'm on AT&T and my pull-down shade doesn't have the S-Finder + Quick Connect toggles under the brightness control. I don't have the option to enable them either.

Those two buttons are carrier things. I believe Verizon and AT&T users either don't have them or can remove them. Hopefully this will make it universal for all S6 owners.

It's not that I want, or don't want them. I'm kinda glad they are NOT there taking up space. I was just surprised when I first saw someone else's screenshot showing their notification shade w/ those "buttons" there. Either way, it would SEEM like there should be an option to put any 2 of the toggles there.

How do I get the settings to use different colors like that, I assume with themes, but I want to keep the normal icons...

Download / Apply the "Urban" theme ... Then your menus will look like that.

Yes you do. Just click edit and you can change the items that appear. I'm on ATT as well.
