I'd certainly hope so. They had an update for it out of the box I believe, or at least pretty quickly. Glad they're providing good support thus far

There were 2 updates right after I got the device. Hopefully the kernel gets addressed in this update.

There was also an update last week. So we've had at least three updates since US launch.

I've had like 4 updates since I got mine. ASUS is doing a great job with working on their software.

Any guesses on when? May 5th was a month ago. Think we'll get it tomorrow? I'm getting used to this update/week thing!

I am waiting for the 5.1 release. But I must say very happy with the way Asus is dealing with the updates. Bought the phone only few days back and got update. Reading in this thread the way they are providing updates gives a very nice feeling after using LG phones with 0 update till date (1 year already done.)

As some of you know asus is running a beta program for its phones in guessing 5.1 might come sooner if you join note: you will be handling prerelease software so bugs lol the link is in the forums
