Android 5 and LG3 Problem, how can I make the programs go back to being tiled?

Android 5 and LG3 Problem

Ok my G2 updated to 5.0. This is kind of hard to explain.
Before, when I pressed the far right button the recently used programs came up tiled. Now, with 5.0 they are stacked. I hate it. How can I make it go back to being tiled?

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, that's how Lollipop's Recent Apps list works. I don't think you can change it back, unless LG has some customized options there.

Oh yes, I recall that it used to be like that on my G3, long ago. That did indeed change with Lollipop, or at least with something or other. Ancient history.

The above are correct, it's the new way of showing recent applications.

Currently, you can change this only with rooting your phone, something you may not want to dive into.

Alternatively, if you wish to go back to KitKat firmware you can flash it back to a stock firmware using known safe methods. If you want to know about either of these solution, just let us know here in this thread.
