Android 6.0.1 won't allow screen recording

Using One Shot v 1.2.10 I try to start a screen recording on a Nexus 5 device with android OS version 6.0.1 installed.

I get to the point where I am asked for permission to start screen recording (see link to screenshot of this: h.t.t.p.s://photos . google . com /share/AF1QipO4Qj-YLiI6-y-3wWNcm8Vy-dGDVsd6A_eJveyB4wAJ8DyUk26142ywyiAk7wObMg?key=LVZ4SDBwSVNNR3AzV1RReEFiWlpOTWRqZ1otZEN3).

But I am unable to click "Start now" / "Start nå" . I am only permitted to click "cancel" / "avbryt".

I have tried to see if there is some privacy setting, or app sandbox permission that I need to set.

I have uninstalled the Twilight app I had installed to remove blue light during nighttime (heard that such apps could cause a problem).

And now I am stumped and need to create a video tutorial.

Any other help or suggestions for what is the problem and how to fix it?
