Android 7.0 Nougat via Beta Program - You Get the Disease, Not the Cure.

Got rid of Beta like a lump on my back.

Received an update today to Build No. NBD90X and Security Patch dated October 5, 2016.

There's chatter out there the the "B" in NBD90X stands for "Beta".
Don't know, don't care - just as long as the security patch is current.

My guess is NBD means nougat build

That's not true, try patient's, I was on the beta program a month ago and unenrolled, I just got Oct security update today and NBD90X

Them the facts. Check out other threads. There are people in my situation who are still stuck on the August security patch and only after re-enrolling in beta did they get the October patch and X immediately.

I was in the same boat. Here it is, September 25th and no September update. So I enrolled back into beta and got it right away. I left beta after download. So we are at October 5th, thinking I will probably have to enroll in the beta again to get October update, but nope, it came OTA. Not sure why some have the problem and some do not. Hopefully OTA updates continue to come.

Not necessarily. My Pixel C has an NRD build number. Although, I did have a huge memory fail. It looks like 'P' is the designation for beta builds (and this time I know I'm correct because that's directly from Android's Beta enrollment page). So, a beta build would start with NP. I'm guessing the 'P' stands for 'preview', but that's just speculation.

I also unenrolled after getting Nougat and haven't missed any OTAs that I'm aware of. Currently on NBD90X as of a couple days ago.

I also joined the beta to get 7.0 and I'm still stuck on the August security patch NRD90M.

I can't sideload the OTA cause my USB port may have gotten wet and won't communicate with any PC. I can still charge luckily enough.

I'm gonna wait a couple of more days to see do I get the October OTA, just to see if it ever comes!

It's mid November and my Nexus 6P is still stuck on August security patch level. Is there a solution?

I enrolled on the beta programme to get Nougat. I got it, and un enrolled.

I am running NBD91K with the 5th November 2016 security patch. I did not re enroll to get it. I'm on Vodafone UK. It just seems to be taking it's time to roll out to everyone. I don't know why.

It will come though, I'm sure.
