Android 8.0 - how screencast to a LG WebOS smart TV?

I've got a fitness app and want to watch it on my big screen.

I'm able to cast YouTube to my LG WebOS perfectly (just open YT on phone and press the screencast icon) - so there are no connection or bandwidth issues.

Oddly I can't find any option to share my entire screen & system sound.

Cubot Note Plus running Android 8.0.0 LG WebOS smart TV.

Any ideas?

When you cast with YouTube it's actually just passing your viewing request to the YouTube app on the LG WebOS TV and that takes over.

To mirror your screen/cast any screen you need that actual feature on your phone or tablet. Different devices call it different things like 'mirrorshare' 'Miracast' 'screen share' etc etc.

It might be in the quick toggles when you swipe down from the top of your screen?

Thanks, I've since found out that Cubot have removed the Screen Cast feature from Settings... I managed to hack/add the quick toggle by installing Quick Settings app from the Play Store, however whilst the Cast Icon is now available in the quick settings, when I click on it I get the message Not supported.

Really hacked off - I can cast YouTube perfectly but not the app I really want to cast....
