Android 8.0 Oreo

Hi, guys

Does anyone know when the official update will be rolled out? I thought it would be here by now.

When ever I speak with them about the 8.1 update for the mate 10 pro all i get is they are working on it and check their facebook page for updates.
Just so you aware my mate 10 pro with android 8 has some bluetooth issues. Which hopefully 8.1 addresses. I know doesn't answer your question but having the latest doesnt always make it the best.

Thanks! Yeah I understand just I haven't had a security patch update since March last year

march. damn that is a long time. One of the reasons i went with a huawei was that they had been spruiking much quicker turnaround on updates.

Apparently the official Oreo update is rolling out to devices now! I've still to receive it in the UK

Practically gave up on any updates since I'm still on OCT. 2017 security patch. One reason I probably won't upgrade to a P20pro.

Still no sign of the 8.0 Oreo update here on my unlocked P10 in the UK.

I have unlocked P10 plus UK & got 8.0 a few months ago. First time it has updated outside of me pushing via firmware finder. I regret the update due to the crap changes with notifications!

I have a P10 (and also a P9) neither of which has received the update as of yet. Both unlocked devices in UK.

I had to update my P10 via firmware finder which was very straight forward and worked with no issues.

Has anyone in the UK with a p10 lite got the update? I keep waiting for the OTA update but it has still not arrived.

Got 3 updates this weekend and my p10 lite is now on Oreo, nice.

As of yesterday evening (24th Nov 2018) my P10 phone received the oreo update and my P9 phone also received its emui 5.0 update.

Both devices were bought new, sim-free, at full price.

Also yesterday I ordered a Note 9 for my use (and will reallocate the others within the family).
