android and google app store question

Does anyone know a way to prepay or give a giftcard for apps on the google app store? I know I can buy a gift card for the amazon market and have no issues with the amazon store, except the selection is slim.

I do not want to put my credit card on file for my 12 year old son, but I would like to say prepay 20.00 or so without charging 99 cents every time he wants to download something.

Get yourself one of those prepaid VISA/MC etc. credit cards at your local Walgreens, Walmart, etc.. they are sold everywhere. Load it up with whatever value or a preset value and use that to put money on the account. I have used these prepaid cards in the past and they work fine.
