AC Question

In the application running section of application manager I have several android icons that are consistently starting and running. I have started studying what each does but that is very time consuming. Is there a place to take my phone to figure out what all of them are and which ones can be deleted. Or maybe a online site to fix this issue. I used to have verizon contract but now have straight talk for less money.

Hey there :)

Welcome to AC :)

You see the problem might be that ,those apps may be system apps or either they are bloatware ( useless system apps ).

You can disable them if your android version supports it .

Go to settings ) apps ) and click on the app you want to disable ) and there would be an option .

You can Uninstall them using root ,but do take care that they aren't important for your system to run :)

You can ask us ,or can obtain a bloatware list for your device from Google easily .

Welcome to Android Central! Be aware that the Android system is designed to control what apps start automatically. This is normal. Avoid using "task-killer" or "RAM cleaner" apps that force close other apps, because this typically will worsen your phone's performance and battery life.
