Just noticed that AA 2.2 is now out. Saw on another site that the two noticeable changes seem to be the ability to swipe away notifications and the ability to block messaging notifications. Has anyone seen any other changes? Haven't had a chance to check it out myself yet.

installed two days ago. Can't say I noticed much differences. My car system is non-touch screen, so the new swipe feature is useless on it.

Mandatory for road safety. Can't see it ever going unfortunately.

I get it, safety but my car has a scroll wheel so it doesn't really require me to stare at the screen. It's not mandated by law, only the good idea fairies over at Google. My car's Sirius allows me to infinitely scroll through radio stations and contacts from my phone. I think they're trying too hard to be too safe. I understand the whole texting and driving thing where your attention becomes undivided. Does Apple Carplay also have that safety feature?

True.

Interestingly, in total contradiction, maps allows you to type in a destination while the car is moving. Gotta love consistency!

Interesting. Haven't tried that yet.

On a side note, my AA voice is hanging a lot to the point of being annoying. I would listen to a text, reply to the text, then when it asks me to send, AA would stop listening. So I'd have to cancel voice commands, then go through the motions again, sometimes more than a second time. I'm running a Pixel connected to a 2017 Audi A6. Anyone else have this issue or know if it's AA or the car causing it?
