Android Auto audio issue

I connected my P10PXL to my truck yesterday and had no audio from Spotify. After testing and troubleshooting I found I had no audio from YouTube as well. I haven't tried making a phone call to see if I have the issue there as well yet, but will try that today.

I wiped out the connection on both ends, force stopped the app, cleared the cache, and uninstalled an Android Auto update and reinstalled. Tried setting up again and got the same result.

Anyone else having an issue with Android Auto?
 
What head unit is on your car? Is there a firmware update for the head unit? Is it factory installed or aftermarket?
It's a factory 8" screen unit in a 2022 Ram 1500. I had no issue with my P8P. I've also connected the P10PXL to my wife's 2024 Ram 2500 with the 12" screen, it works perfectly in her truck.

I did a little Google search after posting and there is apparently a known issue for some vehicles. An update to Android Auto is in the works according to what I've found.

Here is what I've found, it looks like Google has a fix rolling out (soon, I hope).

As it ends up, the issue was not with my new P10PXL, it was with the stereo system in my truck. After resetting the head unit Android Auto started working without issue.

It's crazy how much I relie on the Android Auto system. I've been using it for a few years now and I travel around 55k miles a year.
