Android Auto Calendar Tabs

I have the new Android Auto now. On the old UI, I had calendar tabs that I could simply click to navigate to where I was going. On the new UI, I don't see an easy way to navigate to my appointments. Any thoughts on this? The fix right now is that I start the navigation on my phone and then open Android Auto.
As a plus, there is now a time listed on the audio screens for Pocket Casts.

Overall, I like the new UI, but I miss being able to simply click on the appointment and navigate to it.

I ran into this issue over the weekend with the new AA UI. I had an appointment with the address but AA was not showing it on the display and when clicking on the Calendar, Google Assistant just said I had no appointments when I was 30 mins late. I had to pull over to launch maps from the appointment then reconnect to navigate.
