Android Auto does not have full functionality in my wifes 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe

My wife and I both have Samsung Galaxy S9s. My S9 has full functionality in her 2019 Santa Fe using Android Auto, her S9 however does not display text messages nor does it read them to her as mine does.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Is she using an SMS app that supports Android Auto? (And has it been granted all the required permissions?)

Forget and reconnect the device and car, then reconnect. Agree on the cars setup screen for permissions as it sets up.
