I recently bought a new car and the only way to connect my phone to the car is via Android Auto. Even if all I'm doing is playing a podcast while I drive (with the phone's screen dark) my phone battery drains very quickly - I checked before I left this morning and my battery was at 64% when I left the house and 23% when I returned, about an hour later. That's crazy! Last week we took my car on a road trip and had to use nav (Waze) - not only did my battery drain very quickly but the phone also got super hot - to the point that I was really worried about damaging the battery. The battery drain continued even tho I had it plugged in to the car's USB port and I made sure nothing else was running in the background. Before buying this car and using Android Auto my battery would stay charged for 2 or even 3 days. My phone is Samsung Note9 and the OS is up to date. Help, please!
