Android Auto S22 Ultra

I have wireless AA in my car and it works fine.

Is it typical that when AA is set up the preset buttons and stock radio in the no longer function?

It should function, i have wireless AA and works with steering controls

The Android Auto works but the physical car radio buttons do nothing when AA is connected. You must listen to AA music sources through car speakers using phone date rather than free AM, FM or Sirius

Steering wheel controls access AA rather than car so If I press microphone button on steering wheel & say "set heat to 68 degrees" Google Assistant will say something like home thermostat not connected.

Radio Mode button does nothing. There is no way to connect to car radio except disable AA on my phone

I have in my mustang Android version aftermarket one , One section of the radio I have steering wheel control programming.

So you have Android Auto built in and when using it in Kia you can also use the radio?

Yes no problem at all also on apple play.

Android auto has completely stopped working on my S22 ultra. Not good as I use this app constantly.

I drive a 2019 gmc Acadia. I get the no apps can open android auto error now

So is a solution to this to buy a herb, mfi certified cable? Or is this more or a Samsung/Google issue? It worked fine up until this weekend, and now won't even load in the car.

Have you tried another good quality cable?

Only tried one I've had for a while and a black Samsung cable. Neither helped.

Try going to settings on the phone>apps>find Android Auto and tap >select storage and tap>clear Data then force stop it it will reset it maybe something wonky with it and probably have to set up again to vehicle after

Have you checked to see if your radio need an update. My aftermarket Kenwood has had to updates in 2 years since I have had it.

Yeah it's the stock radio. Apparently it's up to date

Yeah. Unistalled and installed some of the apks that were supposed to fix the issue and still won't even open now. Really weird, but there have been a ton of issues with this phone and AA it seems.

That is weird, I know awhile back s22U had issues with AA

Very weird. I used it this past weekend with no trouble and now just nothing
